This is a vintage Maru obi
with 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) on fan and 'kicho'(partition used by noble people in ancient days) pattern, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
Although not shown on the photo, it has some stains and slight discoloration on the both sides by ages.
It has some other flaws such as smudges and a folding line.
Please check photos for details.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
