This is a Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of 'housouge'(large karabana flower) on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps), which is woven.
Silver foil threads woven in the base are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has stiff touch.
Discoloration is slight so it is not prominent.
There is a small snag on otaiko.
It has stains on the right side of maegara(front patterned part), and they will appear when tied.
Also, there is a small stain on the wrong side of maegara.
The flaw indicated as 'stitch is coming loose' is not a flaw.
It has some other flaws such as prominent folding line.
Please check photos for details.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
