This is a brilliant Fukuro obi
with flower on 'kikko'(tortoise shell) pattern, which is woven.
It is woven by Kawashima Weaving Co, one the most famous obi weavers.
Lots of gold foil threads woven in the pattern are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Both ends are open, and it does not have a stiff lining inside.
There are three golden lines and a gunpai-mark(referee's fan) , which are distinct features of textile woven by Kawashima.
*The real base color is relatively more reddish than the photos.
It has slight smudges on the both edges, but stains on the blank part can be hidden when tied.
The snag on tesaki(narrow end) is small.(3rd flaw photo)
Although not shown on the photo, it has folding lines.
