This is a graceful Fukuro obi
with a design of autumn grasses and 'oshidori'(mandurin duck) on 'kasumi'(mist), which is embroidered with Soshu technique.
'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'hagi'(Japanese bush clover), 'Nadeshiko'(dianthus) and 'susuki'(Japanese silver grass) are embroidered finely.
Gold foil threads woven in the design are tastefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There are small stains on the mid of maegara(front patterned part).(2nd flaw photo)
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), most of stains will be hidden.
It has some other flaws so please check photos for details.
Though it has some flaws, it's still wearable enough.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
