This is a graceful Houmongi
kimono with 'kaioke' (a hexagonal container to store clam shells) and 'Tsubaki' (camellia) pattern, which is dyed.
Gold glazing is added on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven honmon(arranged sayagata) pattern and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
*Though the photo shows uneven colors by the angle of light, actual background color is one color.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
Gold glazing on the left front panel is a little peeling off.(C)
It has stains on the pattern of the left front panel and on the right sleeve.(D)
The wear is slight and not noticeable.
The lining is slightly discolored.
