This is a fantastic vintage Uchikake from Taisho period(1912-1926).
It has a design of 'maku'(curtain), 'matsu'(pine tree), 'kaede'(maple leaf) and some other flowers, which is dyed.
This design reminds of graceful gosho-doki(palace, fan, and seasonal flowers motifs) and Heian scroll world.
It is a luxurious piece with beautiful dyeing and embroidery work.

Textile is exquisite silk with woven ivy and 'fuji' (wisteria) pattern, and has soft and light touch.
Basting stitches remains on the sleeves.

It has discoloration and patinas overall by ages.
It has some other flaws such as holes and stains.
Please check photos for details.

Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable.
However, we hope you enjoy its fabulous vintage design!
It must be an amazing display!
