This is a tasteful Houmongi
Kimono with a design of 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'ume'(Japanese plum) on 'tanzaku'(strip of paper), which is dyed.
Embroidery work and shibori(tie-dye) technique are added to the design partly.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven sayagata pattern and has soft touch.
Although not shown on the photo, prominent discoloration can be seen on the wrong side of collar and sleeve.
(Douura (upper lining) seems to be replaced.)
Discoloration is slight so it is not prominent.
There are some other flaws such as stains.
Please check photos for details.
It seems to be not suitable to wear due to the discoloration.
However, we hope you enjoy its elegant design!
