This is a Nagoya obi
with 'kikko'(tortoise shell) and charming flower pattern, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has patinas and discoloration on the base by ages.
There are patinas on the tare end, and they are rather prominent.
Prominent discoloration can be seen on the wrong side of otaiko.
There is a small stain on the right side of maegara(front patterned part).(3rd flaw photo)
