This is a Komon
Kimono with 'seigaiha'(wave) and 'shippou-tsunagi'(interlocking circles) pattern, which is dyed.
Some pattern was dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is exquisite soft silk with woven 'ajiro'(net) pattern.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
The douura(lining of upper body) has woven Japanese letters "Maki".
Basting stitches remain, so it seems to be after cleaning.
There are faint brown stains and patinas on the left front panel and the hem of the back bodice.
There is slight discoloration in places such as the side seams and shoulders.
There are slight discoloration and stains on the lining.
