This is a Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with wistful silhouette of plants and full moon in behid, which is woven.
Textile is nubby Tsumugi
silk, and it has soft to the touch.
It does not have any folding lines, and it seems unworn.
It has prominent patinas from Tare end to Otaiko pattern.
It is also slightly discolored throughout, and discoloration along the folding crease below the Otaiko pattern is prominent. (first photo below the drawing image)
There are white spots of mold on the wrong side.
Because of the flaws mentioned, it is no longer suitable for wearing.
It must be an amazing handicraft material!
