This is a Fukuro obi
with admiring 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in china) 'Karakusa' (arabesque) pattern, which is woven.
Lots of gold threads are used in the pattern.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Thin shiny gold threads are woven in fabric.
Patinas on Maegara will blend in with the pattern and will not stand out.
It has some other flaws as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
Overall, it is in very good condition and can continue to be worn!
