This is a summer Fukuro obi
with a design of 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China), which is woven with sukui weaving technique, a kind of tsuzure weaving technique.
Gold foil threads are woven as warp threads.
Textile is transparent silk and has soft touch.
The wrong side is also transparent.
It must fit with autumn hitoe kimonos.
There is a small whitish stain on tare, but it can be hidden when tied.
It also has small snags on otaiko and maegara(front patterned part), but they are not so prominent.
There are other flaws such as a slight folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its exotic fashion!
