This is a Tsumugi
Kyo-Fukuro(shorter than usual fukuro obi) Obi with 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China)-like abstract pattern on diamond, which is woven.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft and nubby touch.
Its length is rather long, 12'10"3/8(392cm).
Both ends are open, and it does not have a stiff lining inside.
There are prominent patinas overall, so it seems to be not suitable to wear.
There are other flaws such as slight discoloration and a folding line.
Please check detail photos.
Though it has some flaws, we hope you enjoy its stylish pattern as a handicraft material!
