This is an elegant opened Nagoya obi
with lovely 'Botan'(peony) pattern, which is finely embroidered.
There is also gold glazing 'Botan'(peony) pattern.
Textile is exquisite soft silk with woven 'kikko'(tortoise shell) pattern.
There is only one 'maegara' (front patterned part) which will be shown when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise).
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), the maegara appears.
There is partial discoloration on 'taresaki'(end of wide part) and lower 'otaiko'(square bow).

It will be mostly hidden and not that noticeable when you tie it.
There are slight frays on the corners. and folding lines. The stains will be hidden when you tie it.

Although it has some flaws, none of them bother to wear.
