This is a Houmongi
kimono with whimsical 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Ume' (plum blossom) pattern, which is dyed elaborately.
Silver trimming on the pattern appeals very elegantly.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
There is a signature of the dyer on right front panel.
It comes with a bolt end fabric with stamping.
Sleeves have basting stitches.
*Background color may seem uneven on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code*
It has peeling spot at C on the pattern.(C)
Between the panels of the back, they are slightly discolored.
Discoloration on the shoulder line and lining are not disturbing.
Stain on the hem is very small and not disturbing.
Please see photos for details.
If you do not mind the peeling spot, it is still a wearable Kimono.
