This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of butterfly and 'Botan'(peony), which is woven.
Gold threads woven in the design and silver threads woven in the background are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite thick silk and has smooth touch.
It also has "HATSURIKOU" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It has no folding lines and seems to be untied.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has tiny snags on the tare and edges.
However, it still can be tied!
This graceful piece will add extra elegance to your kimono outfit for sure.
