This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with garden scenery design, which is woven.
Gold threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
It also has "HATSURIKOU" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
Maegara(front design) is only one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
*Though the photo shows uneven colors by the angle of light, actual background color is one color.
Tsume-Tsuzure weave technique, which woven one thread by one thread.
It must be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
It has stains on maegara.(refer to the 3rd flaws photo)
The tiny stains on the tare part will be hidden when tied.
It has slight discoloration throughout the edges and on the te part.
It also has prominent folding lines.
For the detail, please check figures and photos.
Though not indicated, it has smudges along the folding lines.
However, if these stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) do not bother you, it could be worn.
Please enjoy its beautiful design at your hands!
