This is an elegant Nagoya obi
with waving stripe pattern.
It has been woven with kanoko dots and arabesque pattern.
Textile is silk of woven fine stripe pattern, and has soft touch.
It is slightly discolored overall, but the stain and dyestuff will be hidden when it tied.
Also it has other flaws, so please check detail photos.
The photo of otaiko(square bow), the last photo of entire, shows some fine wrinkles and looks its edges are shrunk.
However, it might be by folding, and in fact, its base is not shrunk.
Although there is no figure and photo,
some kaikiri lines(end mark line) at tare-saki(end of the wide part) are loosing by snag.
Also lining of upper of otaiko is loosing.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still used.
However, we hope you can enjoy its graceful classical design at your hands!
