This is a hitoe(unlined) Showa period (1926- 1989) Houmongi
kimono with exotic roses pattern, which is dyed.
Textile is textured jinken 'rayon' and blend with other materials.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Jinken 'rayon' Ro lining is added on collar.
Small shoulder lining is attached, but there is no 'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth).
Sleeves and the collar have basting stitches.
There are also small holes, described as fray E, near the back seam.
Discoloration and patinas on hem of the back are noticeable and outstanding.
Flaw D are stains.
It has some other flaws as shown on photos.

Because of its old age, it has some flaws, but it is still a very lovely Showa era item.
