This is a Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with flowers such as 'Botan'(peony), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) on jigami'(piece of paper in the shape of folding fan, umbrella etc.) pattern, which is woven.
The woven gold and silver foiled threads elegantly shine.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
There is only one 'maegara' (front patterned part) which will be shown when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise).
There is slight discoloration along the folding lines which could be hidden when you tie it.
There are slight folding lines which don't bother to wear.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Although it has some flaws, none of them bother to wear.
Enjoy wearing the elegant design.
