This is a Fukuro obi
with elegant 'Marumon' (circle) embroidery of autumn plants.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Both ends are closed, but there is no lining inside.
Both edges are discolored in full length, and there are streaky discoloration below the Otaiko pattern(will not show when tied). (sorry no photos)
Stains on one side of Maegara will not show if you tie by Kanto-maki (rotate obi counterclockwise), but Kanto-maki (rotate obi counterclockwise) side of Maegara has streaky smudges. (sorry no photos)
Patinas on Otaiko pattern are too fine and unnoticeable.
Please see photos for details.
If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it can continue to be worn.
