This is a Houmongi
kimono with graceful flower cart of 'botan'(peony), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), and 'Ume' (plum blossom), which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work is added on parts of the pattern.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
There is a signature of the dyer near on right front panel.

Sleeves and the back are slightly discolored.
There are also patinas on front panels and the sleeves.
Okumi gusset of left front panel have dyestuff stains. (D)
There are fine stains on the pattern of back of right panel. It has some other flaws as shown on photos.
Douura 'upper lining' is discolored.
