This is a graceful Houmongi
Kimono with a design of 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'hagi'(Japanese bush clover) and kazura-obi(decorative ribbon used by Noh), which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work and gold glazing are added to the design.
Textile is glossy silk and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.
Stains of the back bodice are prominent.(E,F)
There are other flaws such as small stains and slight discoloration of the lining.
Please check detail photos.
Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable due to the stains.
However, we hope you enjoy its elegant design as a handicraft material!
