This is a Nagoya obi
with chayatsuji pattern, which is dyed with natural dyestuff.
Its katazome style is attractive.
Textile is rather thick cotton and has soft touch.
It has patinas on otaiko(square bow) and 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
It has slight discoloration throughout the edges and tesaki.
It has blackish smudges partially on the kaikiri lines(end mark line).(indicated as stain on the sheet)
It has linear fray on the wrong side of tare.(A)
The stitches are a little coming loose on the tesaki corner.
It also has folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It seems to be not suitable to wear due to the patinas on otaiko.
Enjoy its graceful design.
