This is a tsuzure Nagoya obi
with vibrant 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) arabesque design, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has rather stiff and light touch.
Silver threads woven in the background are gracefully shining.
The snags on otaiko(square bow) are tiny and will be hidden when tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), dyestuff on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) will be hidden.
It has patinas on the tare end, slight discoloration on the edges and folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it can continue to be worn.
Please enjoy this elegant design.
