This is a tasteful Tsumugi
Nagoya Obi, which is made of kiribame (patchwork) technique.
It has a design such as 'matsu'(pine tree), 'shippou-tsunagi'(jointed four circles) and 'kikko'(tortoise shell), which is embroidered with Sagara embroidery technique.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft and nubby touch.
Dyestuff of tare end is small, so it is not prominent when tied.
There are other flaws such as rather noticeable folding lines and stains on the wrong side(5th flaw photo).
Please check detail photos.
*It has a bit of mold smell.
Though it has some flaws, we hope you enjoy its stylish fashion as a daily wear!
