This is an exotic opened Nagoya obi
with 'housouge'(large karabana flower) and decorative pattern on stripe, which is woven by Tatsumura Textile co., ltd, one of the leading textile companies in Japan.
Gold and silver foil threads woven in the stripe pattern are modestly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and smooth touch.
There is a Tatsumura's tag on the wrong side.
Otaiko part is Hiyoku shitate to make it look like double layered.
Beside the slight folding line, it has no other prominent flaws, and it is in very good condition.
