This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Tachibana' (Japanese green citrus) on fan pattern, which is dyed and embroidered.
It also has 'Ume' (plum blossom) and 'Matsu'(pine tree) pattern, and traditional one such as 'shippou-tsunagi' (interlocking circles) and 'Seigaiha'(wave) on wavy line pattern.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) and Soshu embroidery work are added gorgeously.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and light touch.
The stain on the kaikiri lines(end mark line) will be hidden when tied.
It has one more stain on the tare end than indicated.
The stain on the tare end will appear when tied, but not so noticeable with its background.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It's still wearable enough in very good condition.
This gorgeous piece will brighten up you on the scene for sure!
