This is a shioze Nagoya obi
with elegant ivy pattern, which is dyed.
Gold touch is added on the pattern for extra elegant look.
Textile is soft silk.
There is a signature of the dyer and dedication below the Otaiko pattern.
Blank part near Maegara and the belt part is smudged and glowing slightly.(sorry no photos)
One side of patinas on Maegara are noticeable, but when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), patinas will now show.
There are more stains on Otaiko pattern than mentioned, but they will not show when tied.
It also has rather noticeable discoloration (fifth photo below the drawing image) and folding lines (fourth photo below the drawing image) .
It has some other flaws as shown on photos.
