This is a fabulous set of Homongi and Fukuro Obi, designed by Tokusen Fujibayashi, one of the famous weavers in Kyoto.
Please enjoy this graceful design from Japanese classical motif.
It fits for the height of 5'1.81(157cm) to 5'5.75(167cm)

(1)Houmongi
This is a magnificent Houmongi with a design of 'Shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom), cranes and sal tree, which is dyed on the ombre dyed background.
The gold glazing fully added on the design shine gracefully.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven sayagata pattern and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has a dyed kamon(family crest) on the nape.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature and title on the right front panel.

It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.

The smudges and patinas are slight and not bothering.
It has a little foil peeling spots by fray around the right side seam.(not indicated)

(2)Fukuro Obi
This is a brilliant Fukuro obi with a design of 'Karesansui' (dry landscape) and seasonal flowers such as 'Kikyo'(Chinese bellflower) and 'Botan'(peony).
Textile is exquisite silk and has smooth touch.
There is a woven stamp of Tokusen Fujibayashi on the Tare end.

It also has pinholes throughout the edges, and especially prominent on 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the pinholes will be hidden.
