This is an elegant Shioze Nagoya obi
with a design of 'yuki-shiba' (snowy grass) and 'tsuyu-shiba'(dew and grass) on 'kasumi'(mist), which is dyed with gold glazing.
Textile is shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of shioze silk.
It has a stamp of the designer's signature on the wrong side of tare.
*The real base color is relatively brighter than the photos.
There are glossy parts by fray on the tesaki(narrow end). (indicated as mold)(5th flaw photo)
It has stains and smudges(6th flaw photo) on the wrong side of maegara(front patterned part), and they are bothering a little.
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), they will be hidden.
Stains on otaiko are small, but are disturbing a little.
There are rather prominent smudges on the tare end.
There are other flaws such as folding lines(4th flaw photo).
Please check detail photos.
Also, the fabric of the 'tare'(wide end) might be shrunk.
So that, a little bit of the fabric of the wrong side was pulled and came out to the right side.
Though it has some flaws, we hope you enjoy its tasteful fashion!
