This is a graceful Houmongi
Kimono with a design of 'kaioke' (a hexagonal container to store clam shells) on hazy mist, which is embroidered with drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through).
'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) is design on the 'kaioke'.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
*Though the photo shows uneven colors by the angle of light, actual background color is one color.
Though indicated as discoloration overall, it is slight and hardly noticeable.
it has slight chest stain on the lining, but they are not reflecting to the outside.(D)
It has some other flaws.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It's still wearable enough in very good condition.
