This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with shidare-zakura (weeping cherry blossom) design, which is embroidered.
It has 'kagome'(bamboo stitch basket) pattern on its base, which is dyed with gold glazing.
Its graceful embroidered pattern emerges out against the chic background.
Textile is damask effect(rinzu) silk with woven sayagata and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
*Though the photo shows uneven colors by the angle of light, actual background color is one color.
The wear is relatively prominent.(A)
It has slight discoloration overall, and patinas on the shoulder tops and below the left chest.
The lining is slightly discolored.
It has stains on such as the left front panel, shoulder tops and sleeves. (D)
It has a deep stain on 'hakkake' (lower part of lining).(F)
It has some other flaws such as many snags on the right back sleeve.
