This is an elegant Komon
Kimono with castle, Shiba(grass) pattern and flowers such as 'Ume' (plum blossom) and kaede (maple leaf) pattern, which is dyed.
Gold glazing is partially added on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft yet textured touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Basting stitches remain on the collar and sleeves.
It has patinas in places and especially noticeable on the left back shoulder top.
It has some other flaws such as prominent discoloration on the lining.
