This is a summer asa(ramie) Nagoya obi
with flower and vase design, which is dyed.
Textile is asa (ramie), which is very comfortable in humid Japanese summer.
The length is rather short, 11'1"(337cm).
Although there is no figure and photo,
middle of the tare-saki(end of the wide part) is little warped.
It has been dyed overall and especially it is noticeable at otaiko(square bow).
Also it has tiny patinas and rather noticeable folding lines.
For the detail, please check figures and photos.
It is no longer suitable for wearing because of its discoloration.
However, we hope you can enjoy its unique feeling of asa at your hands!
*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material.
You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
'Taima' = Hemp
'Karamushi','Choma' = Ramie
'Ama' = Linen
