This is a Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with michinaga-dori(wavy line) design.
It is made with kiribame(patchwork) technique.
Also it has embroidery with sashiko(an old needlework) technique.
Textile is knotted Tsumugi
silk, but has soft touch.
Molds at maegara(front design) are noticeable.
However, if you start wrapping from your left tummy to right(rotate obi clockwise), will be hidden when it tied.
Those at otaiko(square bow) are not so disturbing.
Also it has slight folding lines, so please check figures and photos for more details.
However, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its tasteful design as a casual wearing!
