This is a chic vintage Maru obi
with "Matsu"(pine tree) pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
There are frayed parts on the corner of tare end and 'tesaki'(narrow end).
Smudges can be seen throughout both edges.
There is a large stain on the maegara(front patterned part).
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), it will be hidden.
It also has folding lines, so please check detail photos.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
