This is a vintage Irotomesode
Kimono with an elegant design of flowers such as 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Botan'(peony) and 'Ume' (plum blossom) on wave, which is dyed.
Main parts of the left front panel are embroidered.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded) and sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has 5 dyed kamon(family crest).
Basting stitches remain on the collar and sleeves.
The bottom is slightly padded.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, the stitches are slightly coming loose on the opening under armhole.
It has many patinas on the pattern and discoloration overall.
It has some other flaws such as prominent stains (C E) and smudges.
