This is a Meisen
Kimono with charming red and white circles pattern, which is woven vividly against subdue base color.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Douura 'upper lining' and Hakkake 'lower lining' are both cotton.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
It has prominent wear on collar, and the collar itself has thinned due to its old age.
There are loosen stitches on the back seam and a repaired tear on left front panel.
It has some other minor flaws and tiny holes as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
Because of the flaws mentioned, it is no longer suitable for wearing, however, it still is a very charming piece for its lovely design!!
