This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with a design of charming 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) , which is dyed on the 'somewake'(dyed with separate colors) background.
Gold glazing and shibori(tie-dye) technique is partially added on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
Basting stitches remains on the sleeves and collar.
The discoloration overall is slight and not so noticeable.
The lining is slightly discolored.
It has some other flaws such as noticeable stain on the left front panel and slight wear.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable due to the stains.
Please enjoy its graceful design.
