This is a Houmongi
kimono with graceful 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Tsubaki'(Camellia) and butterfly pattern, which is dyed.
Metallic silhouette of plants add extra shine to the Kimono.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
There is one embroidered kamon(family crest).
There is a signature of the dyer on right front panel.
It is slightly discolored and Okumi gusset of left front panel seems rather prominent. (B)
There is also a whitish dyestuff stains on the lower back.
Its lining is slightly discolored due to the age. (sorry no photos)
If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it can continue to be worn.
