This is a Tsumugi Houmongi Kimono with karabana(imaginary Chinese flower) on kiredori(over lapping fabric scraps) design.
It is fully embroidered with Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) overall gorgeously.

Textile is silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
Dou-ura(upper lining) is sha silk.

Some parts of embroidery at the left chest is loosing.(B)
Discoloration at right sleeve and the back are noticeable.
Also it has other flaws, so please check detail photos.

It is no longer suitable for wearing because of its discoloration.
However, it must be an amazing handicraft material!
