This is a tasteful summer Mon-Sha Fukuro obi
with grape pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite sha silk and has light and rather crisp touch.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, there is a frayed part on the corner of 'tesaki'(narrow end).
The stains on otaiko will appear when tied, but are tiny so not prominent.
It seems to be tied as the width of 'Maegara' (front patterned part) to be wide.
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), folding line on maegara will show.
The stains on maegara will appear when tied and are disturbing.
There are other flaws so please check detail photos.
It seems to be not suitable to wear.
However, we hope you enjoy its elegant pattern!
