This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with a design of 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) on minato-dori(triangle shape), which is dyed.
Gold glazing is added on the design partly.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven 'botan' (peony) 'karakusa'(arabesque) pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
Basting stitches remains on the sleeves and bottom.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, slight discoloration can be seen on the left okumi(front panel below collar end), back left bodice and sleeve.
The lining is quite slightly discolored.
It also has a tiny stain on the back bodice.
Please check detail photos.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its graceful fashion!
