This is a casual Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with beautiful 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) design, which is woven on the pale blue gray background.
The shade of gold threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.

'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.
It is sewn by mitsukoshi one of the famous Japanese department store.
It has prominent folding lines and slight smudges on the tare end.
Though not indicated, it has slight discoloration-like smudges on the edges of otaiko(square bow).
