This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with a design of flowers such as 'botan' (peony) and 'ume'(Japanese plum), which is dyed.
It also has a classical design.
Embroidery work and gold glazing are added on the design partly.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven honmon(arranged sayagata) pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has rather prominent stains on left front panel, right chest, sleeve and so on.(C)
There are patinas near the top of shoulder.
The bottom is frayed.(F)
There are other flaws such as wear on collar.
Please check detail photos.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, slight discoloration can be seen near the top of shoulder.
It seems to be difficult to wear at formal occasions.
