This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with chic noshi(tied gift wrapping paper) pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Its vivid shibori design is so attractive.
Textile is plain silk, and has soft and light touch.
'Shusu'(satin) silk is attache on the wrong side.
The thick lining is added inside.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has patinas on the white patterned parts.
The fabric of the tare end has shrunk, and 'Shusu'(satin) on the wrong side appear.(A)
The holes on otaiko(square bow) will appear when tied and they are bothering.
It has some other flaws such as relatively prominent discoloration.(refer to the 5th flaws photo)
