This is a graceful Houmongi
Kimono with a design such as katawa(half of wheels of royal cart), 'ume'(Japanese plum) and sarcandra glabra on weave, which is dyed.
Gold glazing is added on the design elegantly.
Textile is rather glossy silk with woven honmon(arranged sayagata) pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
There are stains on the left front panel and sleeve.(D)
Slight discoloration can be seen in places.
There is a slight sagging part near the bottom. (E)
There are other flaws so please check detail photos.
It seems to be difficult to wear at formal occasions due to the stains.
However, we hope you enjoy its elegant classical design!
