This is an Asa (ramie) kimono with fine weft Kasuri
pattern, which is woven.
Textile is refreshing asa (ramie), and it has smooth touch.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
It is hand sewn.
Asa (ramie) shoulder lining and 'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth) areattached.
Side seams and back seam seems loosing color, perhaps from being smudged. (C)
Discoloration is seen on the back. (E)
It has some other flaws as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
Although it has some flaws as mentioned, it is still a very lovely summer kimono.
*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material. You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
'Taima' = Hemp
'Karamushi','Choma' = Ramie
'Ama' = Linen
