This is a graceful Nagoya obi
with horse riding Heian noble and 'Matsu'(pine tree), which is woven on the foiled background.
Gold threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The foils of gold threads are peeling off by fray on otaiko(square bow) and 'Maegara' (front patterned part), and they are noticeable when tied.(A)
The stain on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) (about 0.39in(1cm)) will be hidden when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise).
It has some other flaws such as folding lines (refer to the 4th flaws photo) and discoloration on the lining (refer to the 7th flaws photo).
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
However, if these flaws do not bother you, it could be worn.
Please enjoy its graceful design!
